Happy Birthday

By | 19th September 2017

Hello everyone, so how about a clean and simple Happy Birthday card that is very straightforward to make. I have fallen in love with the Eclipse technique of card making. It is clean and simple yet I think the effect is stunning, especially when viewing the card from a distance when its on a window sill or mantel shelf.

The card base is A4 folded in half in Whisper White. The Delightful Daisies are stamped in Pool Party as well as the Stylised Birthday font ‘Happy Birthday’.  I used the Large Letters to die cut the ‘MUM’ after I had stamped the daisies and Happy Birthday and then attached them using dimensional’s to create the 3d effect. I plan to use this technique for special cards for both birthday and Christmas.

I haven’t blogged for a while, sometimes ‘life’ just takes over and the best laid plans fall by the wayside. The NHS have been brilliant, so thank you to all the doctors and nurses at East Surrey hospital and our local GP who has been amazing.

I hope to get back to blogging more frequently and sharing more of my ‘makes’.

Keep safe & keep crafting!
