Hello everyone and welcome back to Live with Fiona!

Every week, I pick a product and design projects with it and show you how to make them during a Live. This week I’ll be using the Silver & Gold 6” x 6” Designer Series paper, the Hippest Hippos & Amazing Phrasing stamp sets and the Hippo Dies. All four products from the July & August 2022 Saleabration Catalogue.

This card is for my sister in law who has just received her Open University Degree – she really is amazing as she has twins who have just had their 3rd birthdays – Woohoo! You are Amazing…way to go Em!

You will need the Silver & Gold 6” x 6” Designer Series paper, the Hippest Hippos & Amazing Phrasing stamp sets and the Hippo Dies, (or use products you already have) as well as adhesive to complete your projects. These are all products you can get for FREE during July & August 2022 during Saleabration.

Amazing Phrasing, Hippest Hippos.

PAPER

Thick Basic White, Silver & Gold 6”x 6” Designer Series Paper, Gold Foil.

INK

Versamark, Memento, Stampin’ Blends Smoky Slate, Pale Papaya, Seet Sorbet, Branny Apple Green.

ADHESIVES

Stampin’ Seal +, Stampin’ Dimensionals.

TOOLS

Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Hippo dies, Trimmer, Heat Tool, Stampin’ Emboss Powder (gold).

EMBELLISHMENTS

Simply Elegant Trim (gold)

Instructions:

Cut a piece of Thick Basic White card 29.6 cm x 14.8 cm, score at 14.8 cm.

Cut a pice of Gold Stripe Designer Series Paper 13.8 cm x 13.8 cm and adhere to card
base.

Stamp the one of the Hippest Hippo’s and colour using Stampin’ Blends, Die cut Hippo.

Cut a piece of Gold Foil 6.2 cm x 9 cm.

Cut a pice of Thick Basic White 5.2 cm x 8 cm, stamp sentiments in Versamark ink and gold emboss with heat gun and adhere to the Gold Foil.

Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the foil and wind Simply Elegant Gold twine around the back, adhere to card base.

Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to Hippo and add to front of the card, add Iridescent Rhinestones.

Friday With Fiona – Rings of Love

Every week, I pick a product and design projects with it and show you how to make them during a Live. This week, I’ll be using the Rings of Love Designer Series Paper which are free during July & August Salebration when you spend £45 (while stocks last).

You will need: Designer Series Paper, cardstock, trimmer and adhesive to complete you projects.

Basic White, Orchid Oasis, Tahitian Tide, Rings of Love Designer Series Paper.

Tombow. Stampin’ Seal +.

TOOLS

Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Fancy Frames dies, Scalloped Contour dies.

EMBELLISHMENTS

Iridsescent Rhinestones

Instructions:

Cut a piece of card 29.6 cm x 10.5 cm, score on long side at 14.8 cm from each end the cut a piece from front at 7.4 cm.

Die cut the Fancy Frame in Tahitian Tide/Orchid Oasis and die cut the Designer Series Paper in the the Fancy Frame (you want the middle rectangle).

Die cut a Scalloped Contour in Basic White.

Cut a piece of Designer Series paper 10 cm x 6.9 cm and glue to the front flap of the card, and a second piece 14.3 cm x 10 cm and glue to the inside of the card base.

Glue the Scalloped Contour on the inside of the card so that it is hidden by the flap.

Glue the Fancy Frame and Designer Series Paper onto the offset piece of card and glue landscape to the front of the card.

Wednesday Live for Blog – Mini Gift Box using Tree Lots Dies.

Every week, I pick a product and design projects with it and show you how to make them during a Live. This week I’ll be using the Tree Lots Dies from the July & August 2022 Saleabration Catalogue. You will need the Tree Lots Dies as well as adhesive to complete your projects.

Supplies:

PAPER

Basic White, Pool Party, Tahitian Tide

ADHESIVES

Tombow, Adhesive Sheets.

TOOLS

Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Tree Lots Dies.

Instructions:

Cut a piece of card 4’ x 1.5”, score on long side at 1” from each end, and on short side 1/8th” in on each side, cut up to score lines on both sides so it will fold like a box

Die cut the Caravan base and curtain in Basic White, the caravan top and bottom and the banner and in Tahitian Tide and glue together, add vellum over the windows and add curtain.

Die cut a 2nd caravan base the wrong side of card.

Glue the back of the caravan to the scored card, then glue the front caravan and you have a mini box.

Trees for Sale & Tree Lots Dies

You will need: Stamp, punch, cardstock, and adhesive to complete you projects.

PAPER

Thick Basic White, Basic White, Silver & Gold 6” x 6” Speciality Paper (SaleBration), Smoky Slate. Pool Party, Real Red, Garden Green.

INK

Garden Green

ADHESIVES

Adhesive Sheets, Stampin’ Dimensionals. Stampin’ Seal +.

TOOLS

Paper Trimmer, Mini Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine, Tree Lots (SaleAbration).

EMBELLISHMENTS

Pool Party Ribbon.

Instructions:

Cut Thick Basic White card 21 cm x 14.8 cm and score at 10.5 cm.
Cut Smoky Slate Card card 13.5 cm x 9.3 cm.
Cut Designer Series Paper (DSP)13.1 cm x 8.8 cm.
Mat and layer the Smoky Slate and DSP and glue to the card base.
Stamp the two large detailed trees in Garden Green, stamp over with the block trees stamped off in Garden Green and die cut. Glue to the left side of the card front.
Die cut the caravan parts, the wreath, the banner, the bow and the curtain and glue together, adding to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp sentiment and fussy cut and glue using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Tie a bow and add to top of the largest tree.

Paper Trimmer, Mini Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine, Scalloped Contour Dies, Hippo Dies (SaleAbration), Postage Stamp Punch.

Instructions:

Cut Thick Basic White card 21 cm x 15.8 cm and score at 10.5.3 cm.
Cut Basic White Card card 4 cm x 10.5 cm (x2)
Die cut 2nd largest Scalloped Contour rectangle and glue to card base.
Add Adhesive sheets to Parakeet Party and cut 1cm x 4 cm (x10), glue to Basic White strips leaving a 1cm gap between each piece, glue Bothe strips diagonally onto Scalloped Rectangle.
Die cut umbrella and flowers in Polished Pink card.
Stamp sentiment and fussy cut.
Glue Images and Sentiments from Designer Series Paper to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Sahara Sand Combo Pack Ribbon, Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder.

Instructions:

Slimline Card:

Cut Soft Succulent card 18.6 cm x 21 cm and score at 9.3 cm.
Cut Evening Evergreen card 8.3 cm x 20 cm .
Cut Sahara Sand 7.8 cm x 19.5 cm and emboss with Brick and Mortar.
Add Designer Series Paper (DSP) to the bottom of the Sahara Sand card.
Wrap a piece of Sahara Sand Ribbon around card to cover join and tie a knot and glue to the Evening Evergreen card and glue Evening Evergreen to Card Base.
Glue Images and Sentiments from Designer Series Paper to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp sentiment of your choice to Basic White card and glue inside card.

EMBELLISHMENTS

Instructions:

Cut Tahitian Tide card 29.6 cm x 10.5 cm and score at 7.4 cm at either end to create a gatefold.
Cut Designer Series Paper (DSP) 7 cm x 10 cm (x2).
Glue the DSP to the card front panels.
Punch Tahitian Tide using Label Me Lovely punch. .
Stamp sentiment of your choice, die cut a circle to fit inside Label in Parakeet Party.
Glue circle to Label and attach label to front of card making sure to only glue half of the label to the left panel.
Fussy cut or die cut Butterflies from Butterfly Kisses Designer Series Paper and glue to front panels.
Add Rhinestones.

Instructions:

Fun Fold Card:

Cut Thick Basic White card 21 cm x 14.8 cm and score at 10.5 cm & 7.5 cm x 11 cm.
Cut Designer Series Paper (DSP) 12.5 cm x 8 cm.
Die cut flowers & Die cut a label, stamp sentiment in Fresh Freesia.
Colour Basic White card using blends starting with lightest – see video for ‘How To’.
Glue Designer Series Paper to card base at an angle and glue coloured Basic White card on top straight.
Glue leaves and attach ribbon across the middle with sentiment label glued over ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Add Rhinetsones and an Open Leaf Trinket as desired.
