Hello everyone, as you know I’ve been crafting like mad to make the kits that I had before playing with the 2017 Occasions catalogue and Sale-A-Bration products. Today I got to play with the new products as I needed to fill three of the tins for presents.
I needed some male cards and one of the stamp sets that I used was the High Tide. Originally this set wasn’t on my Wishlist and then I saw samples that fellow demonstrators had made with it and I have to say that I love it, it is so versatile. The card I have made is using the Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper Stack (DSP) which made it very quick and easy as the background was already done.
As I had it out I made another card using the Serene Scenery DSP Stack which also uses one of the fabulous free Sale-A-Bration stamps, Delicate Details. I stamped with versamark onto the DSP and heat embossed in white. The card base is Sweet Sugarplum and I used up some left over Sweet Sugarplum Glitter Ribbon, (from the 2016 Autumn Winter catalogue) the sentiment is also stamped in Sweet Sugarplum. I’m really testing myself and this is an In-Colour that I haven’t used since its launch back in May. I have to say that I wish I had purchased this DSP Stack ages ago as it makes the cards so quick and easy, just stamp straight onto the DSP and you have a ready made background.
The third card that I want to share with you is using my favourite colour, Emerald Envy, and the beautiful Moroccan Designer Series Paper. The card base is Emerald Envy and I feel this helps the Emerald to ‘pop’ on the DSP.
Finally, a card using the Love and Affection stamp set. I cased this one from Pinterest created by Vicky Wright, and I am very pleased with the end product.
Making this card made me realise that there are other sets that I haven’t yet used despite having had them for while so my next short term goal is to identify all the stamp sets that I have still to use and make one card with each of these using colours that I don’t usually use, within the next two weeks.
All the products shown here are available through my online shop HERE
In the meantime, keep crafting,
Fiona
