Friday With Fiona – Fun Fold with New Horizon

Hello everyone and welcome back to Friday with Fiona!

Every week, I pick a product and design projects with it and show you how to make them during a Live. This week, I’ll be using the New Horizons Designer Series Paper (only a few weeks left as its on Last Chance list) to make a Fun Fold, and I’ve combined it with the Let’s Set Sail Stamp and Punch. The sentiment (particularly relevant at the moment as my Dad has a serious health condition) is from the Brave Vikings.

Supplies:

STAMPS
Brave Vikings, On The Horizon, Lets Set Sail.

PAPER
Thick Very Vanilla, New Horizon Designer Series Paper.

INK
Evening Evergreen

ADHESIVES
Stampin’ Dimensionals. Stampin’ Seal +. Tombow Liquid Glue.

TOOLS
Paper Trimmer, Scalloped Contours Dies, Sailboat Builder Punch

EMBELLISHMENTS
Faux Sea Glass Shapes.

Instructions:

Fun Fold Card:

• Cut Thick Very Vanilla card 25.4 cm x 10.2cm and score at 12.8 cm.
• Cut Card Base (colour of your choice) 13.3 cm x 10.5 cm and a piece 2.5 cm x 28 cm
• Cut Designer Series Paper (DSP) 9 cm x 9 cm (x2) and score across the middle diagonally.
• Glue the back of the two DSP square panels to the back of the Ver yVanilla card so it comes around the front as a triangle (see video) and glue the Vaery Vanilla card to the coloured card base.
• Wrap the long piece of card around closed card and glue together at the front.
• Die cut a Scalloped Contour rectangle, cut a piece of DSP 9.8 cm x 6.5 cm and glue to the Scalloped rectangle, glue this to the belly band.
• Stamp sentiment of your choice, cut out and glue to the Scalloped Contour piece.
• Stamp and/or Punch the Sailboat and glue using Dimensionals to the Scalloped Contour piece.
• Decorate the inside of the card as you desire.
