Are Cactii Cute?

Hello,

I made my first live video for a few months today, I’m out of practice so I hope its not too confusing!

I used the Cactus Cuties Stamp set and Cactus Builder Punch, available as a bundle in the January – June 2022 Mini Catalogue by Stampin’ Up! ©. I love this set as it reminds me of the cactii we used to see in Arizona. Unfortunately due to my and my husbands health we are unable to visit anymore so I will have to make do with colourful Cactii on cards. Are Cactii Cute? I think they are on these cards and I love this stamp set and punch.

The first card uses Pear Pizzaz as a base and Fresh Freesia as a coordinating colour. The second card made on the Live has a Fresh Freesia base and I used the Bright colour Granny Apple Green. I would love to know which colour combo you like.

Instructions:

Cut a card base 18 cm x 20 cm, score in half at 9 cm with a bone folder.

Cut a piece of Basic White 8 cm x 19cm and glue to the card base.

Cut three strips of Brick Wall Designer Series Paper 1.5 cm x 6.5 cm and glue to Basic White card with Dimensionals.

Stamp and punch/fussy cut pots and cactus and glue with Dimensionals to the ‘shelf’.

Tie small bows with Line Thread and glue to pots with a mini glue dot.

Stamp sentiment and cut into single words and glue using Dimensionals.
